How I started writing
OK, I will admit, I used to entertain my husband with goofy songs that I’m guessing came from my Inner Child (but hasn’t everybody?). My husband provides me with the great gift of tolerating my Inner Child when she wants to come out and play or when she is shrieking at the top of her lungs at a spider in the corner. I thought that was the end of the appeal with the fanciful mindset of kids, especially since we do not have any. However, as I watched my nieces and nephews grow, and later spent time with my neighbors’ sweet and sometimes awkward children, and now have brilliantly smart great-nieces and nephew I love to hear about, I realized there is still that kid in me who WANTS to see the world through the magical eyes of childhood. Then surprise! A concept for a book came to me, and I thought, “how nice, that would be something cute to do one day, but I’m not really a writer” and left it at that. Then another book idea came, and another, and another until one day I thought I should write these ideas down, again for a very vague ”someday”. I came up with dozens of ideas for books, and I realized there is really no limit to the joy of seeing Life through the eyes of a child. So if you like the first book, please stay tuned for future installments of Hannah’s delightful discovery of Love everywhere.
